Intermediate

  1. Cartwheel
  2. Handstand
  3. Backward roll to stand
  4. Headstand (legs tucked in)
  5. Bend back into bridge (legs together)
  6.  Run in into cartwheel- stand still- face front

Intermediate +

  1. One handed cartwheel
  2. Handstand forward roll
  3. Backward roll to straddle stand
  4. Straddle up to headstand ( 3 sec)
  5. Bridge kick over or (walkover)
  6. Run into roundoff or handspring

Advanced –

  1. Run into free cartwheel or handspring
  2. Handstand forward roll to straddle stand
  3. Straddle up to handstand
  4. Backward roll through handstand
  5. Backward walkover
  6.  Roundoff flick  - 0.5 bonus

The Core Proficiency Awards Scheme is built around 10 different types of activity – such as Strength, Jumping, Rolling and Balancing. 

Level 6 (pass 6 out of 7)

ADVANCED PROFICIENCY

The Advanced Proficiency Awards continue the development of Core Fitness as well as specific gymnastics skills. The Gymnasts can plan their development with 3 levels of attainment – Bronze, Silver and Gold. 

Bronze Floor (pass 6 out of 7)

1. Headstand-extended legs

2. Round–off half turning tuck jump

3. Handstand held ( 3 sec)

4. Forward roll to straddle lever or ½ lever

5. Bend backwards to hold bridge – leg up

6. Backward roll to front support

7.One handed cartwheel

 

Silver Floor (pass 6 out of 7)

1.Straddle up to headstand

2. Round off into backward roll

3. Handspring (with some help)

4. Handstand forward roll with straight arms

5. Forward roll to straddle lever

6. Backward roll through handstand

7. Backward walkover

 

 Gold Floor (pass 7 out of 8)

1. Free cartwheel

2. Standing flick

3. Handspring

4. Forward walkover

5. Lift to handstand with straddle legs

6. Full handstand pirouette

7. Backward to handstand

8. Round off flick

 

Silver Vault and Rebound (pass 4 out of 5)

1. Squat on- straight jump off (vault)

2. Squat through or straddle over (vault)

3. Handstand to back lie on crash mat (trampette)

4. ½ turn and full turn  (trampette)

5. Star and tuck jump  (trampette)

 

Gold Vault and Rebound (pass 4 out of 5 )

1. Handspring off the end of box

2. Handspring over broad vault

3. Long straddle over long box

4. Straddle and pike jump (Trampette)

5. Rebound of trampette to a tucked forward salto with support
